The Jazz Link Project

The IAJE-MTNA Jazz Studies Guide was designed as a resource for studio teachers who already teach jazz and as an aid to those teachers who would like to add jazz to their studio curriculum.

The Jazz Studies Guide has already generated widespread interest in developing greater student participation in the art of improvisation and jazz. The release of the guide also has revealed the need to provide training and assistance to teachers who would like to teach or play jazz, but need some help getting started.

Below is a listing of individuals that identifies two types of studio teachers: Those who are seeking help and those who are experienced and can serve as clinicians. Also listed below are individuals who are willing to take a community-level leadership role in designing jazz activities for students.
