MTNA Publications
Education is key to continuing success as a music teacher, and MTNA offers several publications to help you keep up-to-date. American Music Teacher, MTNA's official journal, is published six times a year.
In September 2009, MTNA will launch a new online publication—the MTNA e-journal, The purpose of the MTNA e-Journal is to provide teachers, especially those in academia, an online, peer-reviewed journal, which features in-depth, scholarly, research-oriented articles enhanced through the use of sound, image and video links.
Other teacher-oriented publications cover topics pertinent to today’s music teacher, such as legal issues, arts advocacy and pedagogy. These publications, designed for both the novice and seasoned music teaching professional, are the perfect complement to anyone's library.
