Music Teachers National Association

MTNA-Print Version

Programs

MTNA offers many programs to help members advance their professional or collegiate careers. Our national conferences highlight the excellence of our members through diverse conference sessions, performances and competitions. Local Associations provide special educational programming, festivals, and opportunities to meet new friends with common interests.

Forums such as the Independent Music Teachers Forum, College Faculty Forum and others provide opportunities for communication and collaboration on professional issues affecting the professional teacher.  From Advocacy to student programs, from leadership to technology, our programs provide resources designed to help music teachers of all levels sustain and excel in their careers.

Regardless of your discipline or focus, each of these programs helps underscore the importance of MTNA to the music teaching profession, and are just one more advantage to becoming an MTNA member. The links for the Programs section of the Website will provide detailed information for each available program to help you decide which, if not all, programs will best fit your needs.
